No idea. It was an install for a customer. Now it’s on a 16’ pole overlooking a truck stop. Been awhile. It was definitely a firmware issue though. It didn’t self update, I had to manually upload the file to the camera.

Those credentials are the ones you use when setting it up in blue iris. Everything else defaulted.

Yes the user has permissions. That was my initial thought as well. No dice. I even created a fresh new account to test, got nothing. Just tried again using Dahua New as the selected camera, nope. I'm sure it's a minor configuration issue but I just don't know what. Thanks for the suggestions...

I thought about using a Ubiquiti NanoStation but all that I've read says to stay away from wi-fi. That would solve the digging of the trench, but the mounting of the camera still remains. I think I'm just going to bury a pole and mount it to the top.
