Hi, I have had all kinds of problems when trying to upgrade FW on my KD8003 units and I made few posts in October: this and this. I sent two of my KD8003 units to a reseller in Estonia and I wanted the units to be downgraded back to 2.0.8 but for some reason they both were upgraded to 2.2.56...

Thanks. It seems that my iVMS looks somewhat different. Password settings are under Intercom, not under Access control. This is somewhat confusing.

I'm now wondering where to give the access code for KD8003 with FW 2.2.56. For the old FW 2.0.8 this was given under Permission Password (see attached screen copy). For the new FW 2.2.56 I have been trying to find it under Intercom tab.

I think I changed the IP back from 192.0.0.65 after resetting the KD8003 to 192.168.1.xx but I need to double check this later today. I'm using also SADP and Batch Configuration softwares.

Nope, I don't know what this DAG error means. There is another post in this forum about DAG error but no answers. My situation is a disaster, only one KD8003 out of 3 is working. One unit is bricked (with firmware 2.2.3) and it is offline whatever I have tried to do. Second KD8003 with 2.2.56...

Complete disaster this afternoon. I tried to upgrade my side door unit to 2.2.3 and after rebooting the unit is offline. I tried to switch off power but it didn't help. I then put my third (spare) unit with 2.2.56 to side door. Now access code and none of the cards work. They worked yesterday...

I made the upgrade 2.0.8 -->2.2.3-->2.2.56 which seemed to go well. I managed to activate the unit in Batch Configuration software but now my cards are not working. I get the same error message in iVMS as in thread: Hikvision IVMS Access Control Access Group Error code: DAG.dll[1001]

Thanks. What iVMS version are you using? I have 3.8.1.4. Somehow I have been hesitating to upgrade the firmware because I nearly bricked one of my KD8003 so I had to send it to a reseller. I am also not quite familiar from where to download a newer firmware.

Are you sure that when you added a new card iVMS recognised it properly? You can add a new card when you click on persons name (see attached screen copy). When you click on the big "+" sign under the card numbers you can add a new card.

Perhaps you could post this question at HikVision. Admins there have been very helpful.

This is a good point. When I was testing my DS-KD8003-IME1 before installing it I couldn't get the 2nd relay working.

OK, you need to get the username (admin) and password from the vendor. Otherwise you can't setup the Hikvision system. I'm sure you will like the system once you get the password sorted out. It's really cool. Good luck.

giangievo, see my post #127. I think my initial problem is the same you are having. It's not quite clear to me where you have tried to put your username/password. If you are using iVMS4200 then your devices should show up as "offline". I had forgotten the admin password and therefore my devices...

I had similar problem a while ago and in my case the problem was wrong password. I was somewhat confused about username/password so I didn't pay enough attention when setting up KD8003-IME1. Check also the firmware.

Yes, it's the same door station. I have now managed to solve this problem by using Blue Iris 5 which works perfectly. I believe iVMS4200 still has some bugs because some of the features are inactive.

I have now been testing Blue Iris 5 and it seems to be working. I have now tried motion triggering and it records both videos and captures jpeg pictures. BI seems to be much easier to use than iVMS4200 so I may abandon iVMS.
