    Interesting new setup ideas required.

This is indeed a very good idea with all the salt in the air. I will hopefully not have any exposed connections to deal with. It's having a lot of thought put into placement and setup

Maybe not the heat as such, just may be the full 24/7 continual running in a remote location. Like I say I've not convinced myself enough yet as I have used NVR's in the past and as most members have found I've found them limited at best. I just can't make up my mind whether it would suit...

    Interesting new setup ideas required.

Weirdly blue iris wasn't updated it was the same version that was always on there. I'm not sure how or why it happened. At home in using an elitedesk pc for the NVR I can't complain with the system it's served me well. I've no objection to going that way again. I just need to make sure...

    Interesting new setup ideas required.

It was blue iris that's used on my PC based NVR for my home system I like the software although I wasn't very impressed with the way they just switched my account off and reverted back to trial status after it was paid. But that's not a matter for this conversation. The problem I have with...

oh yes I k ow the benefits of using a verifocal where lenses size is difficult to calculate I already have 3 of the 2mp starlights ones at home. I just didn't see they were available to start with. So in terms of cameras I think it will be 2 possible 3 of those. No onto the next point...

    Interesting new setup ideas required.

So I've been away from the forum for around 18 months now. My current home setup is still doing good minus blue iris being a pain, but now I'm back and wondering what's changed in the 18 months since the 2mp starlights were the go to cameras. I have a new setup I need to put together so I'm...

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that again. It was originally added by find/inspect and ptz tab is onvif this was 12m+ ago. I've just set the presets up in BI again and also in the camera directly All ptz functions work except the presets so I'm hoping thsts all that is needed. My aim and...

    Dahua SD59225U-HNI and Blue Iris

Hoping someone can help me. I've been trying to get this camera to play nice with BI but I'm struggling a bit. I've had the camera working with ptz controls fine for well over a year but I've never been able to get the presets to work in blue iris with it. Has anybody got them working and...

Thanks for reply no I couldn't get any video or access the cam But the Poe switch was showing power but no video. I've fixed it in the end. Seems an issue with the metre of cable that was out the wall as it. Even installed a while but exposed. I think water may have got in and wicked up a...

Nuisance: Max Bitrate changing to 32 Kbps all the time

As above I had it on 2 of my old hik cams. It's the NVR changing it. Log 8nto the NVR gui and change the bitrate in there then correspond it to what you put in on the NVR on the camera gui and it should then work ok Tool me weeks to figure it out
