I am replacing a cam that has stopped working (i believe due to water). Bought new cam and plugged in to the poe nvr but get no pic just the config 18 error on screen. (not alot more info sorry Alastair but hope it helps)

I trying to replace a camera on friends nvr and get this error, not sure what to do. Also his nvr is not connected to the net (not sure if that makes a difference) . Thought they would be plug and play. cheers

Same problem here, been working fine for year or 2 now cant view using browser. Cams can be seen using iVMS-4200 and on phone but when using 192.168 browser nothing works anymore .

My 2 ML 2335-i's (Joanna) firmware 5.3.3 are working fine. I have just received another from web camera 5.3.3 but haven't tested yet. I saw someone mention that Joanna's 2335 now come with 5.3.5 which her people were having trouble with ML , no idea if that true or been fixed.

I'm going to record to nvr and ivms-4200 on puter when out, odds of a thief taking both are remote.

The latest pw is 123456789abc have you tried that.

You need to have the same password for the nvr and cams, then click plug & play and should all happen automatically. Had same trouble myself till I gave everything the same password.

I know it must be simple as i managed to do it with one cam (2335) but how do you ca hange the password from the default 123456789abc? Im sure i did it using ivms-4200 but for the life of me i cant work it out.

Well not the best start , ordered a ds-2cd2335i from jo to test It out ,works great connected straight to pc and heaps better than my analogue system. Then a few days later another parcel arrives all excited thinking it is my NVR I open it up to find its not my nvr but 2 cams that I didn't order...
