    Recording on usb 3 drive

Greetings, I know it's recommended to record clips using your local drive. Was thinking of moving recordings to a usb3 drive (more capacity). Usb3 I believe is faster than the internal ssd drive I have. Thoughts ? Thanks again.

How to get the frames sent to the IP camera by a parallel USB listener?

I want to coordinate the activity of a servomotor with the displacements of a camera. Therefore would like to listen to the Pelco-D frames sent by Ethernet to the camera by my USB port thanks to the USB-to-RS48 converter. Yet, for the moment, when I send a command by the local server (by...

Porting Analog Cameras into USB Ports?

I know this is an IP camera forum but please let me throw this at you all. We are helping a friend who has 20+ analog cameras and I'm looking for USB port import equipment cords, whatever to hook those cameras into his new PC and into Blue Iris? Has anyone here ever had any luck with...
