Hey guys

The full color 2.0 has been released. Most cams I already posted here.

where is my test sample for hot and humid Florida? lol

For a second I thought this was a full color version of the booby cam LOL.

I cannot wait to see how this works!

I am sure the algorithm and technology can make a still image look great without ambient light, but I would have to think motion will suffer because of it?

Dual sensor does sound like a very promising design. I wonder what kind of weird image artifacts it might have. Some materials such as clothing may appear darker or brighter in infrared light than a human would normally perceive it. It will be interesting to see how that affects the final image. Also the lens alignment could be an issue. Unless they use some AI to combine the images, I think the color and infrared images will not line up perfectly at closer distances.

Booby one will also come out a 4MP 1/1.8CMOS, still not ready, hope can be released at Oct.

I think the info says that this camera gives a color image using IR illumination. Is that correct?

That is correct.

What I am thinking the camera does is runs a slower shutter for the color and a faster shutter for the IR and then with an algorithm "colorizes" the night image like Hollywood has done with old movies.

The question will be does it create a nice bright static image, but motion suffers?

That is what we are all waiting for to see the motion!
