Also the IPC-T54IR-ZE S3, IPC-T54IR-AS S3 , IPC-T58IR-ZE S3 IPC-T58IR-SE S3, IPC-B54/58IR-ZE/Z4E we add a new AI function, IVS Self Learning Experience Database it's very cool. But need to update to the latest new FW 2024-12-21

Currnet 5 series the AI function will keep updating, I repost here again for this cool update at latest new update, firmware is ready on our website to download.

I always cut IR distances in 1/2 but even at 800 ft regular LEDs aren’t gonna get there

I'm guessing thats this?

@EMPIRETECANDY does the new self learning firmware for the 5xxx s3 cams still have "animal" as an option to alert? (I assume so if the cat triggered it)
yes, sure can support animals detection, it filter only that cat you don't want to trigger.

wow... now found this thread (I have been very absent from this forum for the last few weeks)...

great news for varifocal TIOC-PROs. This will be a hit!..
the only risk is whether Dahua will manage to make a varifocal for the F1.0 aperture, which will be sharp???
In the new 5449-ZE from last year it did not work (I have 1 piece, it is poor).

PTRZ series is copy cat from latest HIK offerings.. little strange that only as 5x49 Full color series with F1.0 - not 5x42 normal series...

Andy (@EMPIRETECANDY) do you have any news about classic Full Color 5xx9 series (5449, 5849, 5849-A180)??
All models are old, have very weak SOC from previous 5442-S2 generation and lots of never resolver firmware problems.. Plus they miss modern Smart Dual Light / Active Deterrence features..

Does Dahua want to do hardware refresh for SD4/SD5 this year?
They are based on old SOC (previous 5442-S2 generation era) and latest 2024 firmware with AcuPick 1.0 were well beyond the hardware capabilities of the camera's processor...
