New Merchant Code Approved For Card Purchases Of Guns, Ammunition

from the article ..

Amalgamated Bank, which calls itself “America’s socially responsible bank,” said that its decision to push for creating the new code is “the result of nearly three years of research and partnership with issue experts at Guns Down America and Giffords Law Center and broad support from elected officials, pension funds, and others across the United States.”

Amalgamated Bank was founded by union workers nearly 100 years ago. The bank first tried to apply to create the gun merchant code in July 2021, but the application had been denied twice by the ISO, after which it applied again for the new merchant category code in June this year, reported CBS News.

The Dems are having a party over it.......while they are just hiding their firearms. Cash or barter transactions, only.

Pocahontas is one of the key drivers. That cunt stinks....

"A new code for gun retailers would be “an important step towards ending financial system support for gun trafficking, gun violence, and domestic terrorism,” Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Pennsylvania Rep. Madeleine Dean wrote in a letter signed by dozens of other lawmakers.

The attorneys general of New York and California recently asked the card networks to begin tracking gun sales and flagging suspicious purchases to law enforcement. Financial companies already report potential money laundering and other kinds of criminal activity, they wrote in letters to the three companies, and should do the same for suspicious gun sales."

^^^^ This is the government getting a business to do what it can't do because of Constitutional restrictions on the government. Talk about fascism!

Having a business do it does not negate how illegal and unconstitutional it is.

It is inching down good, still what? $100 per case higher than pre plandemic?

I shot a lot of that xtac 193 and still have a bunch. Ran very clean for me. My go to everyday range/class round

You really want to buy the 62 grain military grade green tip. Prices are getting near pre-pandemic.

Have plenty from the last greentip scare ;)

.mil uses or used to, use both. In theory the 62gr greentip is better barrier round where the M193 fragments better on two legged targets.

For longer range I have a stash of Black Hills 77 OTM, but I keep 64gr Gold Dots loaded for home defense.

One does need to remember that the 77gr POI will be 2+" different from say the 55gr @100 yds. Im not an expert by any stretch, but was surprised in the difference of POI

Multiple body-cam views on this.

At least 30 shots fired-- but the first one was probably all that was needed. Kudos to the officer taking that first shot in those circumstances-- clearly a marksman kind of shot right out of the movies. I was surprised that the shot was taken

I don't get it....who's the "hostage" that voluntarily got into the white SUV at the beginning? Was the suspect using their friend as a fake hostage?
