Assume this support PAL version of cameras as that is what you usually sell me.
IPC-HFW5241EP-Z12E

Got a problem with: Loryta IPC-T5241H-AS-PV

Just flashed and "factory default" and "default". I get a problem:

It complain at the top "Setttings" with big red flag icon. So I click settings and go to system/version.

t complained: "Algorithm authorization expired, please update license"

Yes, yes, I factory default. No working.

So I go back to old version: General_IPC-HX5XXX-Volt_Eng_NP_Stream3_V2.800.0000000.0.R.190521

Old version is working fine. No algorithm problem.

I have upgraded and downgraded twice! Same problem. Why am I so unlucky with firmware upgrades???

@EMPIRETECANDY

Can you check with Dahua and see if they can get the 2-way talk working in the next firmware and NVR v3.216 firmware?

The 2-way talk works thru the NVR and iDMSS when I use Amcrest IP2M-841 indoor camera (rebranded Dahua). The IP2M-841 2-way talk works going thru NVR v3.216 and iDMSS Plus. But the IPC-T5241H-AS-PV still does not allow 2-way talking thru the NVR and iDMSS. I have to manually add the camera separately by its own IP. This is a big inconvenience to the setting up VLAN as well.

I originally thought the 2-way talk is not possible on NVR firmware v3.216 but now I know it works with IP2M-841 which is an old camera, that tells me a firmware change in 5241H can make it work.

The NVR will have some new updating soon, as i get news from dahua the 4.0 firmware for the NVR will have some update later this month or Early Sep. They release too many new models in the past 2 months, so need time to make them perfect.

Andy, when you release the next firmware version, will you be able to post both the generic and Dahua branded ones? I just learned the VMS I use will currently only pull analytic events from the cameras if they are branded as Dahua.
