I added a picture and put that pics name in the cancel box in camera ai. Now when it sees my face no trigger. Pretty cool. Wish there was a way to put the person's name of picture into the memo when detected
Yeah, not sure what purpose it does other than maybe cancelling out alerts if a familiar person is spotted. Trying to see if a familiar person is spotted (my kids) then it will notify me.

I wish it would add faces automatically and you can label it as it does.
The one which is unlabeled should keep getting added under Unknown and onc which does get label can pop up as whatver that label is.
Another wish - Then say if you want to search unknown face then all video clip where unknown face was found will be sorted out via search or labeled faces.
So Say you have labeled a Suspect1 Then you search suspect 1 and whatever day / cam that suspect 1 matches in video are all sorted with a single search Just a thought

Looking at the option, I have mine working with Deepstack hosted on another internal device, but with the new Faces option I can't "train" using the faces button (guessing its a limitation for local installs)
Hopefully a tweak can have the faces post to the remote server etc. Trying to figure out how to train my docker install now otherwise as I can see the hits in the logs.

I love this idea, and also would love the name into the memo field. Could do some cool stuff where I could ID the mail man, or when the in laws show up.
I have to tinker with the face ID, yet (spring cleaning around the house badly needed).
How does it fair with a person wearing a hat or winter heavy jacket with collar up? or face caught in direct sunlight vs in shade? at night time with great or poor lighting?
Seems like on the latest build its doing some sort of labeling now on the alert image.. Not noticing it anywhere else but looks really cool .. Still very new and trying to notice what else is there this is on the version 5.4.1.2
It be nice if it can show percentage / Label in motion overlays Like that while its being tracked by deepstack. Ah it may be burn label mark on to images. Interesting it never worked for me in the past now it is with this update.
Yea, I Think for sure it is the Burn Label Option in the past this was not working for me, With this update seems like it is working I turned on for all my cams almost. I kinda like it. This way I can atleast visualize what deepstack can see. Or atleast have an idea since alert images are so small. Wish I could see it during playback.

Correct this is in Alert images in BI, You have to turn the option on for each camera you would like this. I really like this as I can see what deepstack is marking or seeing. The option was always there I think even in earlier build of deepstack. However I never had it working not sure about if it was already working for others or not.
So with the latest version 5.4.1.2, are anyone's clips recording bizarrely? My clip times don't match up with the full recordings. Just had a car go by. Clip time was 8:56:40 and on the full recording, the time was 8:57:51. And when I play the clip, nothjing is there until a minute later and the clip lengths are now 1 to 4 minutes long... It did not do this in version 5.4.1.1.
