Hey guys,
First, I'd like to apologize for posting in the wrong part of the forum.. If there is an appropriate section in regards to access control - I didn't find it. (Please move the topic where appropriate)

Has anyone dealt with Dahua access control hardware and the applications (DSS Pro / Express)?

I've purchased 4 facial recognition terminals ASI6214S-PW.
They work great and are able to be configured via the free application - SmartPSS, but it cannot generate QR codes for temporary access. Everything else - code, temporary code, fingerprint, card, face - works perfectly.

Now.. from what I've read from the manuals and discussed with their support - in order to use QR codes (and to be able to manage the access controls via a mobile app) - a "server" is needed, running either DSS Pro or DSS Express.
To the question - does anyone know of an alternative software (such as Blue Iris, which is why I posted here) that could manage these terminals, including the QR functionality?

The reason I'm asking is because DSS Pro requires ridiculously-priced licenses (which don't make sense for a total of 4 doors and ~20 users. Would make perfect sense for a building with 200+ users, but not for 20...), in order to be able to integrate with these FR terminals.
And as far as DSS Express goes - there isn't exactly any information on whether or not a simple "Door license" can be used (which costs 30-40$ per license). If it could - great, then DSS Express is the suitable (and native) solution.
Clarification - we don't need any "intercom" features, just to be able to manage 4 doors and ~20 users and be able to generate QR codes for temporary access.

Again, I'd like to apologize for posting in the wrong place.

Hopefully someone would have some answers.

Regards,
D
