I recently installed a 2nd Amcrest IP2m-842 camera and set it up in Blue Iris. I am getting very bad ghosting effects as seen in the upload.

Settings are:

Frame Rate: 15fps
I-Frame: 15fps
3D NR: Off

Encode: H.264H
Resolution: 1080P
Bit Rate Type: CBR
Bit Rate: 4096

Did you change to 'CBR' (Constant Bit Rate) from the default of 'VBR' (Variable Bit Rate)?

Are you using BI's dropdown for Amcrest 'ProHD/IP2/3/4M main Stream RTSP' or the Generic 'RTSP H.264/H.265/MJPG/MPEG4' ?

Are you using Intel hardware Acceleration?

The only option I have for Amcrest is Amcrest 960H DVR H.264 RTSP in the drop down.

I did not change to CBR, it defaulted to that.

I am not given an option fro Intel hardware Acceleration on the cameras tab, but I do have an Intel 3570k

I believe it is version 4.0.3.

That is a VERY old version...3 years old...update it...there are improvements made to avoid that.

I would also change the camera make and model in Blue Iris to "Amcrest - PRO HD/IP2/3/4M Main Stream RTSP". Also, unselect "USE RTSP/Stream timecode" otherwise you could see video freezes.

I just purchased the full version. Anyway I can get my config from the version I was running to the full version I just purchased? The version I was running was not legit, which I was using to see if I wanted to go with Blue Iris before purchasing.

For Intel hardware Acceleration, should I use "Yes H.264" or "Yes + VideoPostProc"?
