I know the Anneke FCD 600 6MP (not 4K ver) is not the best but I'm thinking it might meet my needs for video coverage of a side passage at the boundary of my property. The passage is narrow, at just under 3' (which would be less once I mounted the camera on a junction box). The frontage of the property is covered by another camera, so this one is to cover a side access door, which can be accessed from the frontage (via a gate) and the rear (via a patio). The property is an old brick build and tricky to run cabling. I managed to get one LAN cable down to a point about 2' rear of the side access door. There is no lighting at present but lighting (probably an LED strip) will be installed from the front gate to the side access door (about 12').
Would the lenses be OK to focus at this short range and provide adequate front and rear coverage?
