I would like to have a standing NVR running on an isolated network around my house for the security cameras. That would be checked when I have an issue or to see if it captured a big deer that walked thru. I have BI on a computer that I turn on when I want to look at the 4 PTZ cameras with a joy stick (separate from the security cameras) that I have for misc (bird/animal watching).
I use BI because it is a much better PTZ interface than the misc ones from the various cam manufacturers.
I read there was an option on a BI drop down for a Hikvision NVR but haven't found it.
All this is local networking. I bought a LaView lv n9616d6e mostly for this separation

Thanks in advance.

I tried that. I'm using http:// ip address find inspect.. says
Opening port 80...
HTTP Get / request...
OK
ONVIF GetSystemDateAndTime
HTTP 12002
Checking for common cameras...
Foscam FI86xx/98xx compatible?
Foscam FI89xx compatible?
Foscam FI9821 V2 compatible?
Foscam FI9821 media port compatible?
RTSP port open?
RTSP port detected!
Done
If I use RTSP , I get no camera.
If I use http: I get channel 1

Maybe my Make = generic is wrong?

Select the hikvision nvr from the drop down, its there.
Then select the camera number under that
