We need a camera to watch our child but she is afraid of the red cyclops at night. I bought a Yi Dome 1080p which doesn't emit visible IR but it requires internet connection in order to use. Our old camera, Fujikam FI-361, can be accessed by simply putting its IP address in a browser. Thanks for suggestions!

Welcome Lazibayer,

Don't know much about baby cameras, however I would like to welcome you here.

It's easy to get swamped with information here, so I wanted to share some notes with you

Please check out @giomania 's notes:
Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

I have also made notes which are a summary of a lot of the reading I've been doing here,:
Looking for some advice and direction!

Have fun joining us here.

You could also buy a 940nm illuminator in the form of a regular screw-in lightbulb if she doesn't like a nightlight or it doesn't provide enough light.
