What does that do? Don't I want object detection? But of course, I'll try when I am home.

If its not set properly it will cause problems...
The Object detection option (previously "object detect/reject") provides for more advanced motion detection. After analyzing the image for overall change, an additional algorithm is applied which attempts to identify regions within the image where motion is occurring. If you have the overlay motion map feature enabled, you will see these regions represented by red rectangles. It is the size of the red rectangle that is compared against the Size sensitivity setting.
