Hi all,

Completely new to PTZ IP cameras and ONVIF, so forgive me if this is a stupid question! I have an Axis M5525E camera that a client wants to control by means of a joystick. This should be fairly straightforward using a Python ONVIF library and a bit of code, but the problem is that the camera needs to be wall mounted, which flips the rotational plane on its side making joystick movement highly unintuitive (left/right becomes a vertical rotation). I'm thinking this must be a common enough scenario for there to be an established method to translate a controller input to a compound movement of the PTZ head, but I haven't a clue where to start. I joined here in the hope that someone might be able to provide some pointers to set me off on the right path!
