I’m ordering one also! Thanks for letting me know. The best I have seen was $280 after using the coupon on Amazon.

That’s very cheap! Thank you for sharing with me and hopefully others see as well!
Don't forget the micro SD cards on sale also.
Yea no joke! This time of year seems like constant money spending! Thanks for spending my money
According to the video in Post #18, that SD card is not recommended for the Viofo cams.

Looks like the only difference between the max and the extreme is the write speed. The operating temperatures are the same. I guess I'll go with the more expensive one later on and wait for it to go on sale since I am in no hurry.
From everything I've seen the A119 Mini 2 is a solid dash cam, probably the best value out there.Any thoughts on the A119 mini 2? On sale now for $86. I know it's a little older 2K vs 4K -- there's a lot of talk about chasing megapixels on this forum, doesn't the same apply here?

I agree the Mini 2 is very tempting! I live in a fairly large city and I have almost been rear ended so many times! It would be my luck I would end up needing the rear facing camera lol! From everything I've seen the A119 Mini 2 is a solid dash cam, probably the best value out there.
The 229 Pro, has a higher resolution sensor that's also larger (1/1.8") IMX678. In this case the extra resolution is valuable and increase the amount of detail on things like license plates. You also get a rear cam with the 229 Pro.
Is it worth the price difference? That's up to you. The Mini 2 is certainly tempting.

I’m in the exact same boat minus children!! I am trying to decide what to do also and order today! At $86 each it would be cheaper to install 2 mini’s.
My issue is I drive 2 different vehicles regularly with a 3rd on standby. Then there is my wife with her car. What about my sons? There are 6 vehicles registered and insured in my driveway right now.
I know for sure that, even if it where simple, I would never move a camera from one vehicle to another.
