My v2 arrived yesterday and it did not come with an extra poe splitter. The standard POE port seems to be working fine.

How did it take to get to you? I ordered 7/20 via epacket delivery. I got the tracking number but it doesn't seem to work on the EMS china site or the USPS websites.

I ordered on the 11th and you can see the timelines for my order. It took a week before CP even showed receipt. This is shipping slow.

Thanks, did you use the epacket tracking number? I'm just wondering if the number just doesn't work or I have to wait till it arrives in the states before it starts working. I've had that issue before where the tracking number only starts working once it gets to customs. I'll check at the end of the week to see what is going on with it.

I used USPS tracking. It did take a few days before the camera was shipped and the tracking was available.

Yeah, i got the tracking number via track order and gives me the epacket # but it doesn't work. I think he just created it and hasn't shipped it out yet. I'll wait till end of the week to see if it gets updated, as it was supposedly sent on 7/20.

I guess we are fortunate to get stuff here quickly, as lots of goods come from China to here. What happened to your defective one, did he manage to replace or fix it? I remember reading it on another thread that you were working on it but I haven't checked the updates for that one.

Thanks, I'll wait for it, atleast I know the estimated time frame on when I'm going to get it. How satisfied are you with the camera so far? I bought one to play with and hope it works out ok.

I've been happy with 2 out the three Huisun v1 cameras and so far also happy with the Imporx v2. Hopefully it will hold up better in the hot temps compared to the v1 that died on a hot day.

The two v1 cameras are powered with standard TP-Link PoE switches. The new Imporx is powered with a Trendnet PoE+ injector supplying power to the camera through the included PoE splitter.

That's what I was implying. He currently has a good reputation on this board, so the business for these cameras is going to him.

I ordered from him when he had 0 feedback for this camera because he was selling it at a really good price vs Huisun, as matter of fact you can see my feedback is one of the first ones. I didn't even expect he would also provide an excellent service 6 month down the road where he surprised me how he handled the entire repair process. The only thing I still can't get out of him is how he can prevent bricking cams via firmware update from happening. He said something that it will only affect 1% of the cams, but that 1% happened to be the 3 cams as we know it.

Not me, my original one was from Huisun too. Doesn't have PoE either so might work forever! That's wishful thinking

So I got my mini cam today.. Yayy but am unable to log into it with the 192.168.0.99 IP address Boooooo. I do not even see it on my network. I am using IE10 but not sure that would keep me from logging in. Have I got a DOA cam?

Networking 101. Is your network 192.168.0.x or did you use SDAP tool to search for it?
