bidens incredible transition to electric cars

Alright here it is.

So, here is my backyard. One of our fire stations is withing a few hundred yards of this facility.

Link to the company info and video.

I took these drone photos below.
Note: These photos can not even come close to providing a true sense of how massive this facility is. It's absolutely crazy in person. I'll video it on my way home. Literally takes like 30 seconds to drive by at 60mph...
Behind it Is a GM plant. Use to be Saturn back in the 90s when we moved here. MAX_0032.JPGMAX_0043.JPGMAX_0030.JPG

EVs are all about control. when you plug in the charger it uploads your driving history to government servers that record your driving habits and routes making it very easy to find you. it also limits your range. And to top it off it empowers our enemy China as they are the major source of batteries.

we are so screwed

You think your regular ICE car doesn't do that already? I know for a fact my F150 does

I know that my fuel cans have no limit on how many times I can transfer fuel to my truck and GPS signals can't pass through my foil backed duct tape

And which EV won't let you charge it as much as you want?

So now we are bashing EV's for future conspiracies? o_O

I will eat my hat if that ever exists, all the limiting would be on the EVSE for time of use rates etc. Get a non connected EVSE (So, 99% of the ones that exist now) and off you go

In the "you just can't make this stuff up" and you can't beat reality, I just heard that GE is laying off workers in it's wind power division and has posted losses of ~$225 million in the green energy division. They cite "inflation" as the reason. Maybe that's inflation of the expectations of "green energy".

Don't worry, in 20-40 years, these same environmentalist will say how bad this current green energy is. Let's predict what they will say the issues will be:

All the thermal heating/cooling has increased the earth surface temperature and caused the oceans to heat faster than ever before and the icebergs really are now melting.

All the windmills had unintended consequences and stalled weather patterns and created more drought and rainy conditions than ever before.

All the now waste batteries are polluting the water.

All the windmills contributed to a slowing down of the earths rotation and we are falling out of orbit of the sun.

Sounds like we just solved global warming!

the government has not enacted that part of the software, YET
Wait till when you plug it in and it looks at your EGS score and provides you a charge according to your score.

I'm hoping I can report a plate for throwing trash outside my house and then it locks out their charging for a week

I know where that is. I built equipment back in the 80's that went into that plant. (Saturn) I live about 75 minutes NE of the plant in Wilson county.

I agree, German car suspensions suck badly and need to be replaced every 50k miles
Damn dude, what are you doing to your cars that you need to replace the suspension every 50K? I have owned many German made cars through the decades and I have never had a suspension system go out at 50k. My Audi has 90k on it and it drives just as nice as the day I bought it with 0 miles on it.

Funny how you mention the VW group. Their suspensions are the most intricate out of the three. Coming from the tri state area, the roads here SUCK, I blame it on corruption. The alignment shops party 24/7
