My DVR received an upgrade notice for a different version:

Found New Version:4.000.0000001.2.R.191101
New Features:
1. Brand new GUI4.0.
2. Better compatibility with SMD, and Primeter Protection camera.
3. No plugins required in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox
4. Color scheme, flat interfaces and visual icons present a user-friendly experience
5. Cross-day-search, easy to search
6. Support HDD Capacity Estimation

Appears this is for NVR4XXX-4KS2?
I'm kind of confused, as I'm currently running V3.216.0000006.0 from DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V3.216.0000006.0.R.20190223

If your NVR is NVR5XXX-4KS2 , I'd suggest to use the DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000001.0.R.20190930.bin, the 1.1 and 1.2 versions seem pretty buggy

i uprade to new firmware and now nvr is in loop every 15 seconds i just see like this on pic ..anyone can help how i can downgrade to get my nvr working again

same problem. no solution

What NVR do you have, and what Firmware did you install?

I have a NVR5416-16P-4KS2E and I'm trying to find out the latest firmware that WORKS.
NVR currently has System Version:V3.216.0000006.0Build Date:2019-02-23

Does the 4.0 firmware mark the IVS event in the NVR timeline when searching like it does in previous FW editions ??

I just set one up and it does not seem to show up in the timeline. It is selected in the search options.

The AI search shows the IVS event clips but no IVS line where the event took place..

I have 3 NVRs. Model DHI-NVR5864-4KS2. one of them has a hardware version v1.0, and the other two have a hardware version v2.0
First updated NVR with hardware version v1.0
from 3.215 to V3.216.0000006.0.R.20190223 - OK
from V3.216.0000006.0.R.20190223 to V4.000.0000000.1.R.20190809 - OK
from V4.000.0000000.1.R.20190809 to V4.000.0000001.2.R.20191101 - OK

Then tried to update two NVR with hardware version v2.0
from 3.215 to V4.000.0000001.2.R.20191101 - FAIL
both NVRs are in cyclic reboot.

@van313371 Are you able to get the sub-strems, via NVR web UI, or via SmartPSS, with V4.000.0000001.2.R.20191101 firmware ?

So, I'm not so lucky, with each firmware newer than the DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_NP_V4.000.0000000.1.R.20190809, I'm not able to get the substreams, my cameras are around, on the network, not directly connected to the NVR's inbuilt PoE switch (FWIW)

Support Service from reseller on my country says that firmware upgrade that i made create a failure on CPU.
Also says that his interface doesn´t detect my nvr.
Put a picture provided from reseller of the interface WhatsApp Image 2019-12-16 at 14.31.18.jpegWhatsApp Image 2019-12-16 at 14.31.02.jpeg

On , is available the DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000001.3.R.20191129.bin firmware, brief test, I'm able (at least) to get the sub-streams, I've never been able with fw's 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2, only with previous 0.1.
