It doesn't appear to the board number for the NVR5432-4KS2. We have the same motherboard number. Now go figure out when was your manufactured and what is the P/N.

However, look at the QR-looking type code to the right. Yours is 01.23.10898 and AQ4H.
Mine is 01.23.11195 AQ5E

Try to unregister your NVR (in alarm manager) and register it again. Does that help?
I wasn't getting any notifications so I unregistered and registered again. I then started getting notifications.

I think the nvr is blocking connections for certain ports or something. I noticed tinycam also fails to connect to the nvr.

I'm just gonna back up my setting and try and factory reset it again. Failing that I'll have to downgrade and wait until its fixed

Done a full factory default, set the unit up again. It fixed a few other issues I was having but notifications definately not working.

Time to downgrade. Shame as I really liked the upgrade and interface.

Hopefully they fix it soon!

Push Notifications work fine for me both in the 7-13-2019 v4.0 and the 8-09-2019 v4.0.1. I am on 4.0.1 right now for over a week now.

To debug this issue, you should run a tcpdump and locate the packets to apple's push server. I wrote an explanation on how push notifications work in another thread, i'll try to find it.

I have a somewhat slightly complex configuration where the NVR forwards all outgoing packets to a Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi then masquerades (SNATs) this traffic to the main AT&T router, then onto Apple's push server. Basically, the Raspberry Pi is a secondary firewall/gateway ensuring that only push notifications is the only data packet leaving to the internet. The AT&T router does not allow outbound requests by the NVR. So the Raspberry Pi, you can think of him like a middleman, the proxy.

There are 2 parts to the Notifications. 1 is the push notification which is sent to the device that subscribes etc. The second part is viewing the footage the alert was for. The first part works for me and i get the notifications. Its the second part which is actually viewing the footage that isn't working. It shows a screenshot of the notification. It's when I click on the notification and try to play the video or view the pictures it just says "no video". So it's like it can't contact the nvr or the nvr isn't allowing a connection to the android app.

I'm using android which unfortunately uses port 443 so it's harder to detect only push notifications.

So when you get the notifications - can you view the video or pictures as well?

I get notifications every time but as for viewing playback or screenshot, it’s a hit and miss for me.

I think AT&T have something to do about this and somewhat and blocking on some of the playback attempts. Seem to work better when My phone is on a WiFi that not controlled by AT&T

Just updated my NVR [NVR5216-16P-4KS2E]to 4.0.1 no issues so far but I haven't ever used push notifications. It looks neat so I may mess with it later. Only issues i'm having are with my IPC-HDW5442TM-AS randomly getting stuck in B&W or going out and having to do a hard reset. Then they go out again, so re-flashing and defaulting and hoping that works. My IPC-HFW1831E cams are working fine and not having the random issues. Hoping I don't have to do a warranty claim.

Ok, well so far so good on the IPC-HDW5442TM-AS not randomly getting stuck or going out. However one its no longer recording at all regular or motion. I have tried enabling the schedule and motion in the camera, web, and SmartPSS and still nothing so I will flash back to 3.216 and see it all is well or if its a cam issue.

After flashing back to 3.216 all is well. So like others though different issues I'll stick with 3.216 for the time being.

Finally gave up the ghost - I Upgraded my cam firmware and my NVR totally lost contact with my cameras (directly plugged into the nvr). Had to connect them all to external poe and run them that way. Factory reset one of the cameras to see if that fixed it and then totally lost all access to that camera. Couldn't connect to it via config tool or ping it or anything. Long story short - it was all knackered.

I gave in and returned to v3.216 - instanly camera was picked up by the nvr (directly plugged in). All back up and running setup in 10 mins. All notifications working perfectly again.

So, Android Notifications are definitely broken in this release (at least for me) and any factory reset results in complete loss of poe functionality of the NVR.

Hello

Really embarrassed as I'm sure I'm just being blind... but I can't see how to actually download the video clips using this new v4.0 interface now? (similar actions to v3 don't seem to exist).

Can anyone step me through how to do this please?

Thanks

Andy - where is the download link for DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V3.216.0000006.0.R.20190223 (or newer version), or did Dahua withdraw the V4 firmware? (The Dahua International website still has DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V3.216.0000006.0.R.20190223)
