Blue Iris and DeepStack ALPR

@pbc Do you have admin rights to the Deepstack ALPR folder? There is a problem with install that puts the folder as read only.

How can I check that? I did see that when I tried to save the config file it said I wasn't able to, and I had to do it via a round and about way.

Should I clear this box?

Okay, still trying. Some of the things I've done:

  • I went into the BI and DeepstackALPR directories and ensured they were not read only and all users had rights
  • Reinstalled DeepstackALPR.exe (when I did this it gave me an error that NSSM could not run, maybe because it had already run?)
  • Checked that the "file path.txt" file was being overwritten, It hasn't updated in an hour even though there have been several DayPlate alerts, does this mean something is wrong?
  • Checked that the service is running (this might be an issue, as quite often I will go check it and it says it is paused and I have to resume it?)
  • The other possibly weird thing is that when I stopped the service, then ran the CMD commands (in Admin mode) it just hung at the below? Maybe because it was waiting for an image?

@MikeLud1 when you get a chance let me know if something in the above seems off? Have tried to include relevant shots of everything!

Below are the settings that need to be changed
  • LPR Camera check the Plate Recognize setting
  • ALPR Crop Camera should have the IP set to 127.0.0.1:81
  • ALPR Crop Camera confirm that Configure Run Action is a Immediate Action

I also don't seem to have a "car.jpg" in this directory (read in this thread I should)?

Okay, getting somewhere, looks like there is a 404 error showing up here which must be the culprit?

I missed that you changed the default port for Blue Iris from 81 to 911 make the below change
  • ALPR Crop Camera should have the IP set to 127.0.0.1:911

Hmm...same error which probably means something else needs to be changed from 81 to 911.

Also just to confirm, in the crop camera, AI is not supposed to be turned on?
