Blue Iris UI3

I knew it had been asked before. I do remember seeing that now. Thank you for the link!!!

Just use the following URL to launch from a browser on a local PC or tablet:
Code:
http://BI-Server-IP:port/ui3.htm?maximize=1#

Tweak the group frame size here to manipulate the camera layout in UI3. That is the only way you can control it.

user of mine is having issues playing live audio in chrome. i can bring up UI2 and it plays live audio but when we bring up UI3 the option to play audio goes away. i checked profiles and all that's given is JPG. it says the browser won't allow it to play audio but it works fine in UI2. i can't find anything in chrome thats blocking it from working in UI3. unless im missing something. i see someone in this topic mentioned it too but i looked for what's said to do but i can't find anything.

People have been reporting this for a little while now. I've just updated my Chrome to latest and indeed the audio option is gone. I'll see what I can do to fix it. Never mind. Brain fart. My UI3 was set to jpeg streaming. Audio is still working.

It is an entirely different playback method from UI2, which is why it can play in UI2 but not in UI3 sometimes.

For the audio issue, try resetting the UI3 GUI settings to default. Even though I don’t think I had changed anything, resetting it fixed my issue.

i figured it out! when "Use hardware acceleration when available" is turned off you won't get the profiles that allow audio. they turned it off to improve chrome's performance.

I just turned that option off in my Chrome settings, relaunched chrome using the provided button, and H.264 + audio still worked.

strange. all i did was enable that setting and the ability to select streaming quality 144p to 2160p is now available. before it was only Jpeg. they are on a macbook pro with latest chrome.
right now i noticed on mine that audio is inconsistent. most of the time i can't hear any audio from any of my cams. every now and then i'll get some sound if i randomly click around on cams.
the only way i can consistently hear audio is if i go to HLS stream. im on an imac with latest chrome.

@bp2008 I installed my first PTZ. Minor bug: If a PTZ preset description has spaces in the string, I noticed it's displayed as "%20".

For example, with screenshot below, "Garage Fence Gate" is displayed as "Garage%20Fence%20Gate".

Any ideas on how to fix? I have updated to latest BI v4.7.9.1, UI3 v55.

How did you get the PTZ description to show up on screen? Is that a function of your camera software?

Feature request
Any chance of getting an indicator that a camera is recording when in "All Camera Cycle" mode, using jpeg streams. Perhaps this has already been asked, or there may be a way to do it that I'm missing. TIA

This is technically possible since UI3 already loads the camera list periodically, and the camera list says if each camera is currently recording, but I have no plans to implement a recording badge for jpeg streams using it.

Just want to know if I understand this correctly.
I don't necessarily need an absolute indicator for every camera on the system in real time during cycle, but maybe just a red frame if the camera currently being displayed during the cycle happens to also be recording at the time. No go?

How do I get UI3 to export footage using "Native" mode instead of "Slow Transcode"?

I'm pretty sure the video is stored in BVR.
