Blue Iris Updates (64 bit)

Blue Iris Updates - Official Thread 5.9.8.5

This version has introduced a bug to my Blue Iris setup. When I browse back in video for playback, I get black screens for every camera, see screenshot below. If I rollback to version 5.9.6.1 8/27/2024 or earlier the problem goes away. I have reproduced this behavior between versions several times. Does anyone else out there have this issue?

This is why most of us stick with only "Deemed Stable" Releases.
Roll back to the previous stable version.

I understand that one can encounter bugs on beta releases and obviously I can roll back to a release that doesn't have the issue. I'm just asking if anyone else has experienced the issue, and I would like to report it so that it can be addressed. That's why beta software exists, to allow people a way to help developers test software. I figured out how to properly report it, so I'm doing that.

Fenderman, please help.

Update stuck.

All of this started:
1. By clicking to update.
2. unloading the current version.
3. Failing to update in some pre-determined time frame and suggesting a reboot.
4. Then, after a reboot and update check, it still suggested the same update version.

If I recall correctly, I thought there was an update a while back (maybe 2 years ago), that I think required the user to download the update, stop the service then run the executable file.

Maybe try that and see if it works.
