1. By clicking to update.
2. unloading the current version.
3. Failing to update in some pre-determined time frame and suggesting a reboot.
4. Then, after a reboot and update check, it still suggested the same update version.

Just wait for the next update or email support
 
i tried to update to 5.9.7.2 a few days ago and it froze up with a message saying the update file was already downloading. I was unable to rollback to an earlier version because of the message that wouldn't clear out. I stopped the Blue Iris service and relaunched Blue Iris and that took care of it. Version 5.9.7.3 was released the following day and it installed normally.
 
Anyone can guide to where and how to buy upgrade license after digital river is gone? traditional click on 'UPDATE' within BI software takes me to the non-existent d-river site. Thanks.
