I have a really hard time being able to watch my camera's live-view in a browser. I can log in to the camera and change the settings, but I can't see the live-view. The browser tells me to download and install the plug-in, which I have tried many times now, but still the same - can't see the live-view.

I have tried i Chrome, Firefox and edge, without any luck. Does these browser plug-ins work at all?

try the older IE11, probably needs activeX component that won't work with the others. What camera is it?

The new browsers do not support plugins. Html 5 does not support cameras. Only IE 11 supports cameras with a plugin for now. Do not expect IE to support cameras much longer. This is one of the reasons why there are are apps for camera viewing.

Read the WIKI at the top of the page. Read the Cliff notes.
