Hello,
I have a Dahua NVR4208-8P-I Network Video Recorder. Currently, my cameras are connected via RJ45 cables to the NVR's eight dedicated camera ports, and the NVR is connected to my local ISP router/access point via another RJ45 cable. This setup creates an ad-hoc IPv4 network (10.0.0.0/8) for the cameras, while my local network uses the IPv4 range 192.168.1.0/24, which includes the NVR and other household devices connected to the internet.
I want to add more cameras and prefer to use the existing RJ45 cables in my house (currently used for a cable-only TV box) to avoid running new cables.
Is it possible to merge the cameras' ad-hoc network with my local network? In other words, can my cameras and NVR be connected to my local network (the same as my WiFi network) so that the video data can be transmitted through it?
