CPU running at 100%?

Strange.. I have the same offline issue. But it usually stemmed from the CPU running at 100%. Disables the cameras and shows them as offline even though they aren't. Have a thread on it but I don't think anyone knew what causes it. Hasn't happened in a couple weeks though.

It is possible it hits 100% during my 4am DB compact schedule. My clips.dat is 35GB. I wish there was a way to set an email alert when a camera goes offline, so I can easily track when this is happening.

For me I noticed it happening when I would set my cams to inactive mode. When the cams came back on line they would all crash after a bit.

OK, it's not the DB maintenance, it just happened 90min ago; and I have the event viewer errors. The 3rd error listed is under System Event log, looks like a display driver error.
