CPU usage doubled

Were did you set the frame rate ?
It is set in the camera not in bi.
Set frame and iframe to 10.
Use vbr
Bit rate 4096.
I use h.264 because bi ptocss it better than h.265

set on the cam interface. I will have to check the iframe and bit rate. I'm already set to h.264 and VBR.

bit rate probably changed when I changed the resolution.

set all the cams to:

Full res
10fps
VBR
H.264
iFrame 10
bit rare 4096

no change, BI still showing 20fps

played with resolution, that just raises FPS.

These cams were all running 10fps until I added 3 yesterday.

I'll have to get another screenshot tonight or tomorrow of the camera config page.

Here's BI showing the actual FPS

Reboot every thing, the cameras first. Then the bi machine.

Wait one hour.
A screen shot of the bi status page with all the cameras listed.

aill give that a try when I get back home. I've rebooted the machine a million times, but not the cameras, manually. I always assumed they rebooted when you made changes in BI
