Dahua Camera Times out/goes blank after over 48hours

Hello, I manage the camera at my office. There are 16 Dahua cameras connected to the NVR and attached with POE switches. we use a MikroTik router(Just stating this). now the issue is, after over 48hours, the cameras all time out and goes blank. I'll have to restart(unplug and plug) the NVR and POE switches and then they'll all come on again. This is going on and on and I am not sure what step to take next to resolve it as the camera times out sometimes at night and may not be there to restart it. How do I resolve this issue?
 
Are the cameras run through the router? They should not but should be connected like this:
CAMERA => POE SWITCH =>NVR LAN
POE SWITCH => ROUTER​

What is being used for the display? TV or monitor?

What happens if you just restart ONLY the NVR?

What is the NVR model number?

maybe something wrong with this POE switch? or it power supply?
does restarting only switch (without NVR) helps?

other possibility - bad cables..

go to camera -> camera list on nvr...
click into properties of each camera and change decoding strategy to realtime. save this for each camera..

does this resolve problem?
if yes - there is problem of bad network connection between NVR and cameras.. to many errors and retransmissions..

usually cables require making new cable plugs on the ends with better plugs / crimper..
if cables are long, change to a new better one (pure copper 23 or 24AWG)..
changing POE switch to CCTV one (from Dahua) helps also in those situations..

For the network setting, the "Switch" setting is on, so it runs through the router

TV is being used for the display

If I restart only the NVR, not all the camera come on

Device Model: DHI-NVR4116HS-8P-4KS2/L
 
Is it possible the TV is going to sleep? If it's a smart TV I'd check its settings.

Camera streams should route to switch, NVR LAN to switch, switch to router; I would not route any camera video from switch to router in order to get to the NVR's LAN port. If NVR's LAN is connected to switch and router is connected to switch then it's not an issue.

I really can't say, In June a vendor came to "maintain" the system because some camera were coming on and off. One was discovered to have lost power over the LAN cable, so it was manually power.
But the main issue is, all cameras come on, but after over 48hrsthey go off. This is a big concern tome as it affects my job role.

I see a clusterfu*k of possible poor terminations (cable jacket not secured under clamp).

If that's the NVR on the bottom, is it a POE NVR and is powering some of the cameras ? And some of the cameras are connected to a POE switch?

Cleaning up wiring is a good place to start. The Dauha sheet for NVR4116HS-8P-4KS2/L shows that it is EOL so maybe an upgrade. It appears to be a 16 channel NVR but states "8 × 1080p@30 fps " and POE capability of
" Total output power of PoE is 72W, the maximum output power of a single port is 25.5W " I would also look at the cameras that you have on the POE. If they are within the 72w (9 W / channel) you should be OK except you have lots of heat on top of the NVR, equipment degrades after awhile and can start being more affected by heat. Pull the NVR off to the side and clean any dust inside. Verify the fan is working and not obstructed. Then reach out for a replacement if it keeps failing. I am leaning toward a heat issue at this point.

Thank you all for these contributions.
I was initially thinking that I needed to change the lease time on the router, but then even if I could change the lease time, the camera is not meant to time out.

A properly terminated RJ45, the part that plugs into the POE switch, should look like this:

Your "vendor" needs a boot up his ass, for obviously not knowing what he's doing.
The incorrect connections you have shown us are asking for trouble.
