Look in the log file to see if there are any hints about what is wrong. It should be located where the exe is.
@bp2008 Thanks for this tool. I have it installed, configured two cameras and communication is working since I can get the focus/zoom info. However, when I try and test rise/set, nothing happens. What am I missing?

I tried that and watching the image in BI it doesn't seem to change.Run the utility and hit the simulate sunrise or simulate sunset buttons and see if the cameras profile changes.
What are some of the settings differences you configured between the day/night profiles on the camera?I tried that and watching the image in BI it doesn't seem to change.
It's working now. I reviewed the Day/Night settings like you mentioned and found Day/Night mode was set to Auto for each instead of Color for Day and B&W for Night. I now see the cameras change when simulating sunrise/sunset. Thanks! What are some of the settings differences you configured between the day/night profiles on the camera?
I am not sure what I am doing wrong but under hostname I have the camera ip address for ex 192.x.x.xort number. However when I click Get Current Zoom/Focus nothing happens. Do I need to set anything special on camera side ? It is working for one camera. but not for other. Also when I click on Simulate view sunrise sunset apps seems to be hanging.
Also on the log file it says
The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.
Anyone having nothing happen when clicking the simulate sunset / sunrise buttons most likely just needs to go into the camera's web interface and manually its schedule to "full time". This is a control over near the image settings where you configure the day and night profiles.
It sounds like you entered the user name or password wrong. The simulate actions happen "on the UI thread" which means that yes, the application will appear to hang while it waits for the camera to respond to things.
On the sunrise/sunset app, have you also "configure service" so that it is running?
