Need more info.

What are camera brand and are they plugged into POE port on NVR or external POE?

And sometimes it can take up to 30min for the NVR to populate all the cameras.

Lots of possibilities

1- have the cameras ever been used before? Or are the brand new out of the box never plugged into another NVR or switch?

2- was that one camera showing port 37777 manually added or did you let it auto populate? Typicallly that port won’t work on the onboard PoE ports. Delete it, reboot NVR, plug it back in and wait. Don’t manually add it.

3-you should use the web interface not the machine interface. open a web browser to your NVR. Probably at 192.168.1.108

4- did you manually change the internal IP range to 10.2.2.x?

7 of the cameras were existing 8 are new.
yes one of them is showing port 37777 which was me trying to manually add the cameras have restarted the nvr 3 times with the same problem every time have Been told by a friend that it’s to do with the IP or an ONVIF issue. Is there anyway to just reset the NVR back to new and plug the cameras in and they work just seems to hard

The NVR isnt likely the problem.

You must delete that camera, unplug camera, reboot NVR, plug camera back in, wait

It’s recognizing the camera. So it needs to automatically register it. Once you get a 10.x.x.x address it should be fine. It takes time sometimes.

You could also, while it’s connected to the NVR PoE, reset the camera manually holding the reset button for 30 seconds.
