I've had the same issue with some (not all) chinese market dahua cameras. I have to set up the motion and ivs settings directly on the camera. Even after that, it can be a messy job to set the dvr to record on the trigger. Fortunately, once that's set up on the nvr it sticks, and when I want to adjust the motion or ivs settings I just log onto the camera.
@Myllerman get it from @EMPIRETECANDY and you are save. You get it with the general English oem firmware and will be able to changed it to the original branded Dahua one, if you like their logo like me
Regarding to the tech spec it will do 4K for all channels, but I have no experience with that, because I’m using the 2MP Starlight cams.
JUST Contact me is easy, lol...Thats good. I didnt find it in the shop i think but i guess he can order in stuff. Wont be needing it quite yet thought, my system is a build in progress so to speak hehe.
How do i know what stores has the Orginal English FW NVR5216-4KS2 ? Some write it but can i trust that ?
Will this NVR do 16x8MP cameras ?
Hi Myllerman,
Yes it can handle 16x 4K/8MP - note though at lot of the NVRs will have issues displaying all of those 4K streams, recording gets priority - so no worries on recording.
