Drone swarms in the northeast?

Ok just watched a video and report from a guy I know and trust. He’s been fishing NJ shore and deep water for 25 years. Solid salt of the earth type guy.

Drone flew maybe 1/2 mile to his left at about 300-500 ft. Good size. Silent. Big ship offshore lit up.

If I knew how to paste a Facebook video here I would….

And I am watching 5 C-17s that all took off from some base in NJ. One is 200 miles out at 30K, one doing circles around NJ, and two heading towards Boston ..?

My guess is that these drones are a new generation of drones made by the US (probably DARPA).

Otherwise the US would have sent a F-22 or F-35 to intercept them.
What is not clear to me is why they choose to fly them in these locations rather than a test site.

Agree, they're US .mil

But there's some other motive beyond "we just decided to test and freak everyone out while lying about it" and they have expanded their coverage area to at least 3-4 more states

"Send F-22s or F-35s" Yes, fat chance!! How in the hell does one slow down a jet to trail a UAV
at 50 MPH?

Time for Barrage balloons with monofilament fish netting strung between them.
