After getting rid of all Hikvision 3 and 4MP cams almost a year ago, 5 Huisun mini ptz bullets is what I use for all my outdoor cams and couple Longse. I have been very satisfied with them which BTW they are mostly 2MP cams.

The problem i have is i don't like seening them on the outside of the house. I like them to be slim and not so bulky. And hard to mount

Yes they are bulky but it's a tradeoff for having 10x zoom, ptz

If i can

You need to understand what you are buying and how higher resolution sensors perform in low light...next time buy 1080p.... there are plenty of scenarios where they camera will work just fine...

Keep in mind that Hikvision bundles cheap small sensors in their 2-line cams while their 4-line uses larger sensor. So in other words pay more money if you want better IQ with Hikvision or... for example Longse s500 is 5 MP yet it has large senor which will out perform any Hikvision from 2-line in nighttime.
