To be fair, Dahua's marketing plays a part in blurring those lines.@Rusty Ross ,
BTW, is there some misunderstanding of terms or names?
IIRC, the LR1002's you mentioned in your first post are considered "EoC" which stands for "Ethernet over Coax", and can run up to 3,000 ft. on RG-59/RG-6 coaxial cable.
"ePOE" stands for "Enhanced Power Over Ethernet", is Dahua's patented tech and is good for up to 2,464 ft. on CAT-5e, 6, etc. Ethernet cable.

No, I'd say that's what they're for....running POE IP cams over existing coax.sorry I guess I got caught up with the lingo. I saw a post about keeping my rg59 cable and using ip cameras via epoe. I then bought a NVR and those LR1002’s for each run. Did I buy something I don’t need?

The data sheets / manuals do specify a maximum resistance a line can have, something like 10 ohms. The cable terminations are always likely candidates.
What happened to 1 then 2 ??? No idea where you are in the process
Does it show ion the camera registration page?
