we are probably only seeing the best of the drone videos online .. the ones were the drops are the most successful, I am certain there is a lot of missing until an operator gets good at this ..

What technology is out there? E.g is it possible yet to put cross hairs or a laser dot on the target to guide the bomb / missile to said target? Or is it just a drop and hope job?

Maybe I've been watching too many movies lol

A visible laser will give the drone away. The camera quality is OK but IR laser would work, but they would have to change the camera to see the IR light. They also have to take in the windage factor from 200-300 feet.

These are lost cost drones so you have to deal with what you have.

Good point I never considered the visibility aspect :)
