*Problem solved* Finally got the davinci fix to work...

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that you could fix the NAS issue by sending some telnet commands that disabled some checks that caused the issues. The problem would return after reboot but that is ok for me. Does anyone know these commands???
I'm not looking for the commands to make changes to the Davinci file. I have already tried that and that didn't work for me.
