Nothing is stored on the hard drives besides video files.
So, swapping out the HD's shouldn't affect anything related to the operation/setup of the NVR.

That's what I thought but wanted to be sure. Have been doing the PC stuff for 25+ years, but sometimes better safe than sorry. Thanks

Finally got everything going for our needs. Very impressed for short range on the cams. Still have one to re position trying to help a neighbor. On the relative cheap cams, am amazed with the width of field. Got my whole garden in at 20 ft.
