Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

Rather complicated but my only option given location is to mount it on top of a door frame. So the POE LAN cable will run above the frame. Later, I may move it higher. It will be in an enclosed area (wall surrouning the property). The idea is to view into the street.

Yes it can be wall mounted. The camera comes in two parts. The camera itself and the mounting bracket that the camera clip to. This mounting bracket has a spot marked "front". Make sure this is facing the correct direction before mounting the camera or the image would be upside down. This bracket only goes on one way when attaching the camera. You will see on the camera itself the marking which tells you which way is up. In a nutshell, the LED lights should be under the lens itself. If you have the lights on top then the camera is upside down. As far a routing the cable. The camera shroud does have a notch for the purpose of routing the cables out the side. Just remove the silicon plug and the cables can be routed out.

Are you mounting it to a soffit? If so then you can just mount the plate to the soffit, push all the wires back through the soffit and clip the camera to that mounting plate. I don't think a junction box for the FCD600 turret would be easy to find. Probably better off finding a universal junction box like the PFA130-E which has a cover on and tap your own holes to mount the plate. View attachment 204507
My install had the network cables going to a single gang box in the wall so I just drilled a hole with a step bit to run the camera wire harness through into the single gang box. Then mounted the camera plate to the single gang wall plate, caulked and called it a day.

Im considering the turret version of the FCD800 or NCD800. Will be mounting it on a wall and I prefer the cable to lead up not down as you have in your installation. Based on photos of the cam I do not think this is possible unless I am able to remove the cam from the turret frame and invert it. Is that possible? In the product photos it seems there is a screw adjustment (for up down adjustment) but only on one side so I am not sure. The other side of the cam itself may not take a screw if you know what I mean. Thank you!

Hi Lewic, you wrote "The camera shroud does have a notch for the purpose of routing the cables out the side. Just remove the silicon plug and the cables can be routed out." So the cables can be routed out the side AND the top but not the bottom? I prefer they be routed out the top but the side would be a compromise. Thank you!

OK I got these from an AMZN review. Looks like the LAN cable can come out the bottom and side for sure (but but sure about the top)? And it is possible to enclose the other cables and only have the LAN cable leave the round mount? Can someone confirm? Thank you!

What is the diameter of that circular mount? If no avaliable would you say its far wide than the circular for the Dahua 5442?

I have two Annke NCD800’s in service and am happy with them.
I paid $235 and $200 respectively for them, bought at two different points in time from Annke.
Reading opinions and experience above with the FCD600, I am thinking of buying one.
Optically it seems similar to the NCD800, and having read many @wittaj and other posts including above am not going to dwell on fewer pixels.
I found three buying options:

6 MP Panoramic 180° Fixed Turret Network Camera
AN-I51DX0102-V1 @Walmart $77.98; Housing: Plastic, White color

4K Panoramic 180° Fixed Bullet Network Camera
AN-I91DX0102-V1 @Walmart $85.98; Housing: Metal&Plastic, White color

FCD600 - Panoramic Outdoor PoE Dual Lens Security Camera, 6MP Resolution, 180° Ultra Wide Angle, f/1.2 Super Aperture, BSI Sensor, Color Night Vision & Infrared Night Vision, Built-in Mic, Active Siren & Alarm, Human & Vehicle Detection - Turret
AN-I51DX0102-V1 @Annke $89.99; Housing: Metal&Plastic, White color

Other then Turret/Bullet, are these the same camera?
The minor apparent differences could just be typing/copy, and possibly not accurate descriptions.
The $77.98 @Walmart would be the best buy.

Also, for my NCD800 Turret I used this box.
Initially I was determined to use the "official" box, but everything I found would allow insects in, and I live in the woods.
Based on a nudge from @TonyR I tried this box, and it worked out well.
Also gave me more confidence for the future to be creative and improvise.
For the cable, I drilled a hole right at the edge of one side wall of the box, the one the gasket is NOT seated on.
Got a nice, snug cable fit, duly sealed per @TonyR specs.
On the flat box cover, I marked and drilled holes, and ran stainless steel machine bolts to mount the camera (sorry, no photos).
See photo of final install.
It's not a small box, but I think in the image it looks disproportionately large.
On the NCD800, were you able to get the mic working? I thought the cam has speakers and through BI (app and desktop software) I am hoping to speak to the cam. I got it workign the other way around (cam to BI desktp or app) only.

1734619757518.pngThe cables can be routed out after taking out the silicone plugs. If they aren't in the spot that you would like then you can take the camera apart and flip it around 180 degrees. It would be a multistep process. Need to take off the screws on the plate in the picture. The camera portion would be able to slide out. Flip and reinstall. Or you can do it another way and just get a junction box and route it out whatever direction you like.

On both the FCD600 and the NCD800, I was able to get the mic and speaker working. The speaker is on the back of the camera itself. Speaker is used for two way audio and the sound from the active deterrence. I don't use blue iris so not able to comment on that. I've got mine added to a LTS (Hikvision OEM) and a Dahua NVR.

Thanks @lewic

For outdoor installations :
Remember water will run down cables, so ideally you want the cable coming in from the bottom, and a drip loop to be formed by the cable running to the camera.
( This mostly applies to wall mounting, .. )

Hi all, a very belated but very appreciative thank you for all your insights an tips. I have not installed the cam outside yet but tested it and am very happy with it.
