Help me fine tune setting up spotter cams for my SD4A425DB-HNY mini-PTZ

I think it's a BI setting. I just had someone come through right after I got the SD card up and running, and it didn't command the PTZ.

I have ONVIF triggers on and it set to move and trigger. Is there something I am overlooking? Is there a setting on the PTZ I need to change?

Interesting, that looks like a trigger.

If you manual trigger the cam will it go to the PTZ preset?

Ugh and the SD card shows a trigger?

Try this: Under Network > Access Platform, turn onvif authenticator off in the camera to see if it stops that error but still allows the ONVIF triggers. It could be an issue where the camera and BI are having "handshake" issues and thinks that there is a problem, when there isn't.

ONVIF Authenticator is noiw turned off.
Right click on Spotter in BI and select trigger now, and the PTZ moved.

SD caught her right at the end of the Tripwire (could have been during the reboot), but yea. It triggered.

My daughter is outside playing and unknowingly helping me with my tripwires. It appears the 4K-X over the driveway can only recognize a person about at the end of my neighbor's driveway. So the tripwire I have extends way past where it is capable of recognizing.

However, it still triggered at the end and the PTZ was not commanded.

Gotta love the unsuspecting helper LOL

Oh so it looks like you have Motion set up and IVS? If the BI motion is triggered first and is in a triggered state then when the IVS triggered it isn't considered a new trigger and falls under the BI motion. Turn off BI motion for the spotter

I do still have motion on for the PTZ. Could it be triggered by its own motion and then disregard the IVS call from the spotter?

That is weird because your log shows Motion_A and not external.

If you told the PTZ to not trigger to another preset while in active trigger for the current preset then it wouldn't move for that spotter cam.

That is correct.

I guess they the Ole computer reboot trick and see if that clears about the gremlins from all these changes.

Everything looks right.

Do a manual trigger and what does it show in the log?

Maybe one of those delete and re-add the camera?

I am going to remove all of the other spotter cams and see if that narrows it down at all.

Yeah there is a conflict going on somewhere. Not sure where.

I guess remove them and add one at a time and confirm it works before trying another.

I can't help but think there is something in the new GUI or a default setting change between this camera and other dahua PTZs causing this.

I will temp set mine up next to the 49225 and see if it behaves the same as the 49225.

I've moved into Sunday routine mode and won't be able to mess with it until later tonight, but I will post if I find anything. You may need to remote in at some point and make sure I'm not missing something stupid.

On a side note, my IVS tripwire for the spotter is triggering in both directions even though it is only set to B>A
