Here comes Milton…

Well one us will likely get lucky, you're pretty far south of me

The track keeps moving around.

Maybe we should meet in the middle at Hooters in Lakeland and then decide Wed morning whether to go north or south :lmao:

I hope all of your stay safe and the impact of this next storm fizzles out before making land. :thumb:

Keep us all updated as to how your area is / isn’t affected.

I’ve tried to unplug from all of this for a couple days because there’s just too many people that need my attention and help in other areas.

Heard from quite a few family members that those with infants and small children are being flown out to other States.

Which puts even more pressure on the family being separated. But, it makes sense from all perspectives because now you don’t have to worry about your wife / children and how they will survive each day with nothing.

Hope all of our IPCAMTALK friends in FL will be OK.

I have friends in Weeki Wachee and she just had a kidney transplant a few months ago.

After helping my wife's uncle clean up his place in Bradenton this past week (sits on the back side of Sarasota Bay behind Anna Maria Island that just got destroyed,) from Helene, I think most along the coast will Evac early for this one. We'll be fine up here in Lake county as long as we dont see 75-80+ sustained. After that is a crap shoot. At the end of the day you know a metal box isnt going to do well in 100mph+ sustained.
Times like this I miss my previous concrete block and stucco home

Keep your head on a swivel because if the water rises as high as it did in some locations such as 20 plus feet!

Don’t want to be wondering around with gators just waiting to have a snack!

Stay safe and hunker down. :thumb:

Not worried about water where we are, they keep the lakes drawn down during cane season and I'm 8 ft above water level. No surge here at the swamp ;)

Wind is our enemy

1728317394599.png That sucker just seems hell bent on going over the top of my house. No noticeable change in path in two days from what I can tell.

Hurricane prep completed!

Not necessarily in order of importance. food, water, gas, cash, tequila, beer, ammo, tp

I'll likely be hosting relatives from St. Pete.
What city are you located in?
