High CPU use on v4.5.0.0 x64 ?

If you set hardware decoding to off you have disabled hardware acceleration...
Ok. But if I choose any other setting I do not get a signal from cams. Oops. Actually I get signal if I choose "Yes + VPP"

VPP is BAD for that many cameras as per the release notes...
Something is wrong..is the stream set to h.264 in the camera or h.264+?
Are you running the latest intel hd driver?
Why are you still on windows 8?
If you dont run as a service do you see the same issue?

Yes latest drivers.
Win 8.1 pro x64 is a very stable platform.
Service turned off and still same issue.
If I turn VPP on I actually get a signal from the cams. With it AND Hardware Acceleration OFF I also get a signal. With Hardware Acceleration ON and VPP OFF I do not get a signal.

Email support..
Windows 10 is just as stable...
