Hi,

I just bought a 2DS2732 with SN: xxxxxxxCCRRxxxxx - an english version?!
Info on box: made 8/2015, firmware: v5.3.0_150513, but after several tries I saw in SADP firmware 5.2.5.

It was possible to get onto the webpage to configure with admin/12345. Disadvantage: no plugin for firefox and/or chrome (ubuntu running - no IE).
So I thought it is a good idea to update firmware to real v5.3 to get better browser support.

It was and is still possible to flash via TFTP, but without success. At v5.3 I get this 'finished successfully' as well. Now I'm not able to get the cam connected via web-interface.
In SADP I saw the cam, but the IPv6, Enable DHCP and HTTP Port (set to 0) was greyed out - not possible to change.
If I tried to change anything maybe IP adress, SADP got a timeout message after saving and nothing changed.

Meanwhile after some tries to flash v5.3, v5.2.5, ... I'm even not able to see the cam in SADP.

Any ideas?

Thanks Q2U but maybe you didn't understood the issue.

The login itself is not problem - until now.
If I try to open webpage of cam in any browser, it won't work at all. There is no page at all, not even the login page.
Port 80 of the cam is not activated and can not be activated because the network parameter fields in SADP are grayed out and are not available.

Is there any other possibility to activate at least port 80 again. Without web config it is a little bit difficult to configure the cam...

At the moment, after flashing of 5.2.0 I see the cam in SADP again, but
- telnet not working
- http not working
- activating http via SADP not working
- cam stream in iVMS not working
- changing of any accessible field like IP adress failes due to timeout message (see screenshot)
btw: SADP shows version v4.0.8

The camera is in 'min-system' mode, this is a recovery mode that is used following an incompatible firmware update.
No web services, minimal root file system, but still possible to use telnet to connect to the shell.
What I would suggest is to first ask the reseller if they could supply you with the (presumably hacked to English) firmware that was on the camera as shipped.

The official Hikvision firmware (dependant on the camera region) is here 5.3.0
http://overseas.hikvision.com/en/download_89.html
and here 5.2.0
http://overseas.hikvision.com/en/download_89_p3.html
or here for a CN camera

Or use the downgrader in my signature below.
Use the single line version of the downgrader for recovery.

Thanks a lot.

I got it running again, but it wasn't quite easy.
So I never saw the 'update completed' after flashing, if the region code was wrong. So with all different versions of digicap.dav I drove crazy.
I tried the downgrader without success and several other 5.3.0s. Once I saw the 'update completed' and this was an EN version (checked with sticky's hicktools).
After that I changed the language code into downgrader digicap.dav back to EN.

Flashing worked inclusive 'update completed' - now the show can go on.

Thanks guys.
