I have the camera and I cannot see a corridor mode. I do see changing left to right etc. Anyways I was just wondering.
Corridor mode is nothing else than just flip the image to 90° or 270° and turn the camera (so sensor is 9:16 instead of 16:9). i would aways turn it to the direction, that the LEDs are not on the wall-side (if you mount it on wall)

If there is no option for flip, please post bug in 4k thread that andy can tell dahua that they should implement it.

Can you post a screenshot from Webinterface?

I have tried flipping it by the software but it does not make a difference. I was hoping for a taller and narrower picture but that is not what is happening. I am just going to relocate the camera and get it done another way. :)

Is this still the latest firmware for this camera V5.5.160 build 210416 as looking on a dealers webpage shows HIKVISION UK PORTAL (hikvisioneurope.com) put on on Monday.
The latest Firmware is 5.5.800 for MANY Hikvision models.

Beware:
They removed the ability to link the LEDs with motion detection for all colorvu g2 models in firmware 5.5.800

There is a huge security issue on older firmwares before build 210625

That's because they are rushing out updates to fix this major security vulnerability :

I see that there is no release notes with this new firmware, anyone know if it is just the above and security related.

Just updated to the new 5.5.800 firmware and my LED still works with motion through Events under basic.

Can anyone get the DS-2CD2087G2-L(U) version of the camera to do 24fps at 4k? Mine won't go higher than 20fps. The website says it can do 24 or 25fps based on NTSC vs PAL.

Hey guys, im about to pull the trigger on these. Just wondering what a good NVR to pair these with would be. i only need 8 channels and would prefer not to spend a truckload if possible.

Quit bragging about your bright light and big @$$ plates LOL.

But seriously, the full color cameras absolutely rock with light.

Those are great pictures to show the benefit of sensor sizes - look at the differences between the 8MP on the 1/1.2" sensor versus the 4MP on the 1/1.8" sensor.

Now people should be able to visualize what an 8MP would like on a much smaller 1/2.8" sensor that many 8MP are sold on. It will be much much darker than the 4MP image above.
