Hikvision Cubes resetting to factory after power outage?

I have four hikvision cubes model number DS-2CD2432F-IW and two of them have started to reset to factory defaults after a power outage. I thought maybe these would have a battery inside them to maintain settings but the only reference to a battery in the manual is in the warnings section. They don't appear to be user serviceable. Any Idea why this is happening? What can I do to fix it?

A lot of this around - when the cameras are exposed to the internet and the bots are exploiting the 'Hikvision backdoor' vulnerability.
Have you done any 'port forwarding'?
Check if you have any ports exposed that you don't know about with ShieldsUp! GRC | ShieldsUP! — Internet Vulnerability Profiling  
Scan all ports.

Also important, if they're not yet at v5.4.5 of firmware, definitely update the firmware to close that vulnerability.
