Hikvision driving me mad

Bought a 204G-F1 Hikvision 4 Camera Kit

Plugged it all in, it powers up, start up screen appears onto the tv, then turns off again.

Any advice?

I have a dumb question since I've never bought a kit. Did that NVR come with a hard drive installed?

Suggestion:

Check the NVR web GUI, using IE11.
The NVR may be putting out a signal that the TV HDMI cannot handle.
SADP should be able to find the NVR and confirm if it's running or not, and it's network address for the browser access : Tools-Hikvision
