change PC IP address, found cameras, clicked on camera but would not connect
Double-clicking the camera IP address in SADP?
That might be because the PC IP address was not in the right range.
SADP does not need the PC IP address to be in the same range.
But the browser does.
What did you set the PC IP address to?

At a PC command prompt - try these commands:

ping 192.168.254.2

And check the PC IP address with :
ipconfig /all

OK - so does the NVR alter the moved camera IP address to match the IP address of the channel that the camera is now connected to?
You could imagine that as a helpful feature of the firmware when cameras have been shuffled around without awareness of the need to maintain the original connection.
OK, so I confirmed that when I move a camera from one channel to another, the IP address stays the same for the channel and the camera adopts the IP address of whatever channel it is moved to. In other words, the IP address on each of of the 8 channels on my NVR never change - whatever camera is on that channel, the camera adopts that IP address. Hope that's helpful.

Hi Folks, I resolved this issue. In "Camera" select a camera, delete the IP address for the camera, select Plug and Play, enter the Password, click OK. Give it some time for the NVR to detect and connect.
