Hikvision nvr and hikvision cameras not adding through swicth

Hi there i am not the most computer literate person out here but i am having an issue trying to get the cameras added when i am using a poe rugedized switch, the nvr is located in 1 building and the cameras are out on poles with a wireless bridge. i can see the cameras on the screen below #16 but it wont let me put them in a slot or view them.

It works best direct on the NVR not on the web GUI.
 
What type of NVR is it?
When you say 'below #16' does that mean you have a 16ch, 16 PoE NVR with all the camera slots already showing?
If so - in the web GUI of the NVR you need to pick one of the unused PoE channels and select 'Modify' instead of 'Add'.
You need to know the IP address of the camera, the user/password and use 'Hikvsion' as the protocol, 8000 as the port.
